🌴Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica🌴
Study Abroad Itinerary
15 days, 14 nights
Day 1-4 🦜
Fly into San José and meet the Infinityland crew before heading to our rainforest eco-lodge for an immersive stay in Costa Rica’s vibrant natural landscape. We’ll kick things off with local food, teambuilding games, and a surprise nighttime adventure. Over the next few days, you’ll dive into the jungle’s wild side—exploring wildlife, hiking a volcano, soaking in natural hot springs, ziplining through the rainforest, and learning about medicinal plants at a local farm. Each experience deepens your connection with the land, your peers, and yourself—setting the stage for an unforgettable journey!
Day 5-10 🍫
Next stop—Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast! We’ll check into a modern 4-star hotel right by the beach, where every day feels like an adventure. You’ll dive into the local culture—visit chocolate and coffee farms, explore an animal rescue center, learn from Indigenous leaders, and get hands-on with cooking, dance, and art workshops. Spend your days chasing waterfalls, surfing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and kayaking in the ocean blue and coral reefs. Along the way, you’ll start building skills for your impact project through workshops on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, design thinking, and social entrepreneurship—guided by local experts who’ll help you turn your ideas into action.
Day 11-15 🌅
Keep the adventure going as you explore more of Costa Rica’s wild side—spot dolphins, whales, and maybe even sea turtles! You’ll wrap up your local service-learning project, putting the finishing touches on your team’s impact idea designed with the community. Together, you’ll prepare to present your project and celebrate everything you’ve accomplished with a fun farewell ceremony by the beach. On the final day, say “hasta luego” to your home away from home and head back to the States with new friends, unforgettable memories, and certificates recognizing your cultural immersion, service, and leadership.
